Going to therapy allows for space to reflect on your life, and having the right therapist along your journey is integral to this process. Connection is central to this work. We often find ourselves repeating patterns we don’t understand when struggling to navigate relationships, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. Examining how your past shapes your present and illuminating these patterns in therapy can lead to meaningful change in your day to day life.
I provide LGBTQIA+ trauma-informed, affirming therapy, paired with a holistic perspective through a psychodynamic lens. If you are exploring sexuality, gender, relationships, faith, culture, family, or any other integral identities, you are surely welcomed. I am familiar with the recovery process for those who have witnessed or experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse, and trafficking. I hold over a decade of experience in body-based practices, and I am familiar with helping people navigate acute PTSD symptoms. I possess a deep consideration for neurodivergent and highly sensitive individuals, and honor what you bring into the room. Together, we will explore the relationship between emotional well-being and the rhythms of daily life, including sleep, movement, nutrition, rest, and time spent in nature.
Regarding education, I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oregon State University and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the City College of New York (CCNY).
My style of therapy has no timeline; I am here for you, for however long you need. I am honored to join you at any point on your long journey through life. Thank you for taking a step towards growth and healing, and I look forward to the possibility of working together.
